JOOLA Perseus Pro V 16mm: design and buyer guide
The Ben Johns Perseus Pro V 16mm in Blaze Red is an elongated JOOLA paddle with a 5.5-inch grip and 4.25-inch grip circumference.
Why consider this model?
Consider the Perseus if you are comparing elongated JOOLA frames. Check the 5.5-inch grip against your hand placement; the Kosmos Pro V uses a different hybrid shape and shorter listed grip.
Built for aggressive, high-tempo play. The JOOLA Perseus Pro V keeps the proven elongated Perseus profile while rounding the top corners to center the sweet spot and extend reach at the kitchen. The Blaze Red 16mm model is Ben Johns’ signature configuration.
Performance technologies
- KineticFrame: a slimmer, flexible throat designed to load and release momentum through contact for confident placement.
- Propulsion Core: controlled internal flex creates a responsive, spring-like feel for drives, counters, and speed-ups.
- Hyperfoam Edge Wall: perimeter foam improves stability, enlarges the effective sweet spot, and adds forgiveness away from center.
- Elongated Perseus shape: extra reach without shifting the sweet spot too far toward the tip.
